The greyish-green aspect of this plant is why it has been termed as 'Grey Ghost'. The H. carnosa 'Grey Ghost' may revert to a dark green color, possibly due to low light exposure or low humidity levels.
The Hoya carnosa 'Grey Ghost' grows small, waxy blooms on spurs, usually in umbels of twelve. The corollas are a pale pink with the coronas often darker in color with yellow or light centers.
